JEDDAH : Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammed Naeem Khan has stated that restaurant business provided ample opportunities for investment in Saudi Arabia.While inaugurating a Pakistani ‘Rahma restaurant’ here on Friday night, Ambassador Naeem Khan congratulated Ch Mohammed Yousaf Ibrahim and his team for taking this initiative and also felicitated Pakistani community on this new addition.The inauguration ceremony was attended by Consul General Abdul Salik Khan, officers from Consulate, journalists and Saudi nationals and Pakistanis from cross-current of society.The Ambassador appreciated that this restaurant offers not only Pakistani food but also all varieties of continental and Arabian foods. He hoped that the new restaurant would make a good business.
Ambassador Naeem Khan said that Pakistan also offers liberal investment opportunities and the present thrust on public-private partnership has increased manifold opportunities for private entrepreneurs in Pakistan.
Cordial business atmosphere and with its geo-strategic location, businessmen from around the world can get good business while getting closer to Chinese and Indian ports through Pakistan, he added.
Speaking on the occasion Consul General Abdul Salik Khan felicitated the management of the restaurant and prayed for their success.
He said that presence of Pakistani restaurants in Saudi Arabia are a means to introduce Pakistani culture and tradition in an effective way.
Ch Mohammed Yousaf and Ch Shafqat while speaking on the occasion welcomed Ambassador Muhammad Naeem Khan and Consul General Abdul Salik Khan and also informed that it was the biggest Pakistani restaurant in Jeddah and its branches will be opened across the Kingdom. (APP)
