ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Sunday said that steps were being taken to facilitate the Pakistanis living in the United Arab Emirates.Talking to a news channel, Rehman Malik said that during last meeting with officials, “we have decided to initiate double shift system so that the Pakistanis in the UAE could avail the passport facility in an appropriate and easy manner.”
He said that mobile units facility would also be available for Pakistanis working in the UAE.He said that discussions were held for taking action against the wanted persons involved in criminal cases.
He said, “discussions were also held on regional issues with Secretary General of Interpol.” Replying to a question regarding political issues in Afghanistan, he urged the NATO forces to take action for controlling the poppy growth in a proper manner.(APP)
