Controversial Pakistani starlet Veena Malik's father Malik Muhammad Aslam has disowned his daughter for appearing nude on the cover of FHM magazine, Zee News reports.
Apparently, Veena has denied posing nude for the magazine cover and insisted that her pictures were doctored but her father is hard to placate. She has also slapped a legal notice against her 'so called' offenders and has fined them for a whopping sum of Rs 50 crore for maligning her image. But Aslam has demanded a promise from his daughter not to visit India once the scandal is over.
Talking to a daily, Aslam said, "I have disowned her. I have severed all ties with her and I don't want her to have any share in whatever meagre assets I have until she is cleared of the controversy and pledges not to visit India again." "I can ignore if she disobeys me but I cannot tolerate anything against my country and my faith," he added.
Moreover, Veena Malik has announced to sue FHM India magazine for Rs 50 crore, accusing it of morphing her photo, our sources reported.
Veena initially sued the magazine for Rs 100 million after which the magazine sent a legal reply to Meera over threatening to sue her for Rs 250 million.
In legal reply to her notice, FHM India categorically denied that her photo had been morphed, and said that Veena was the one who had initially pursued the magazine for a shoot.
Talking to our sources, Veena Malik said that she had objection on only one photo. She said that Indian magazine was silent on the signed agreement between them, adding that she would now sue the magazine for Rs 50 crore.
