ISLAMABAD: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain telephoned Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday and inquired about the health of President Asif Ali Zardari.The MQM chief said his party joined him in praying for the early recovery of President Zardari.He also appealed to the people of Pakistan to pray for the good health of the President.The MQM Chief asked the Prime Minister to convey his sentiments to the Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.The Prime Minister thanked Altaf Hussain for inquiring about the health of the President.

He also thanked Altaf Hussain for MQM’s cooperation extended to the government for the maintenance of law and order during Moharram-ul-Haram.
Earlier, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, Chief JUI (F) telephoned Prime Minister Gilani and inquired about the health of the President.
The JUI (F) Chief prayed for earliest recovery of the president. (APP)
