Talking to media after attending a ceremony at Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore, Mariam Nawaz said she had not yet taken any decision about contesting elections.
She said 'on the directives of my father, I am contacting the new generation and soon I will go to other parts of the country in this regard'.
Mariam said she is alone in politics, while her other siblings are out of country.
She also prayed for speedy recovery of President Asif Ali Zardari.
