Karachi’ites need peace not terrorism: ISF

KARACHI: Insaf Students Federation (ISF) Karachi said Karachi people need peace and unity instead of hatred and terrorism.

The ISF said this during a meeting arranged regarding the preparations of Grand Jalsa scheduled to begin at Mazar-e-Quaid on 25th Dec.

The ISF Karachi President Arsalan T. Ghumman said that since many decades political organizations have spread hatred for their political gains among the citizens of Karachi which resulted loss of thousands of human lives but now people of Karachi have awaken and they have rejected the mafias spreading hatred and they want Peace and Unity.

He further said that it would be the gathering of all the citizens who wants to bring back the lost happiness of the past and also owns Karachi. In the exclusive meeting General Secretary of ISF Karachi announced the names of the committees formed for Jalsa preparations and told that after the Moharram Ashurra preparations of Jalsa has started.

He also informed that ISF Karachi would establish more than 15 awareness camps across the city. ISF Sindh President Alamgir Khan also attended the meeting to monitor the on-going preparations. Alamgir Khan said that the wave of change has reached Sindh province and Karachi Jalsa will prove what Pakistan wants. He stated that Imran Khan is a national leader who has an ability to unite the people of Karachi and students and youth of Karachi will follow him in this mission.

Later, ISF Karachi Medical Wing was also inaugurated in which Dr. Naveed appointed as President and Saqib Malik as General Secretary. Young Dentists and Senior Fellow of TED-Ex Dr. Awab Alvi and PTI Sindh Senior Vice President Aslam Rajput were the chief guest of the inauguration ceremony.

Dr. Awab Alvi said that formation of ISF Karachi Medical Wing is a good sign, which will be helpful for the Medical students to get involved in socio-political activities. He also stressed that youth must act responsibly while responding to opponents and must not cross ethical boundaries.

Aslam Rajput appreciated all the participants of the meeting by declaring ISF as the breath & sole of PTI. He further said that students & youth have to play a vital role to make Karachi Jalsa much bigger than previous events.
