The Cantonment Board Executive officer, Rana Manzoor Ahmed Khan said that the board has generated Rs 70.5 Million revenue while the expenditure remained Rs 230 Million in 2011, whereas the board registered 62 thousands water supply connections out of 1million population.
He said that the board has decided to increase the water supply charges to over come Rs170 million deficits and setup several teams to search illegal water supply connection .He said that the board also decided to take action against the consumers involved in using under ground water as it is illegal.
