Alam Zaib Khattak, brother of Uzma Ayub, arrived at the local court of Takht Nasrati for hearing when unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire, killing him on the spot.
According to police, the culprits managed to escape under the cover of firing.
Police have cordoned off several areas in search of the perpetrators but there arrests have been made yet.
